In just 5 days, on November 7, most communities will be able to vote for city council, mayor, school board, and more. These races are often small, decided by a couple hundred votes, but local elected officials have the ability to make major policy changes, from raising the local minimum wage to declaring sanctuary city status. Today, we’ll talk about how to get educated about the local elections happening in our communities next week and make our voices heard.
