Wednesday’s joyful news—that Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock were both elected Georgia’s senators, giving Democrats control of the Senate—was immediately overshadowed by the white supremacist assault on the Capitol building in Washington, DC. This assault was encouraged by President Trump. We’re less than two weeks out from Joe Biden’s inauguration, but we have work to do while we wait.
